New Publications Series Launched

In July 2026, the first article in the Research and Practice series will go live — Future Directions for Global Higher Education: Transdisciplinarity and Public Engagement, written by Louis E. Swanson, A. Scott Reed, Hannah B. Love, and William F. Shuster. This series will feature peer-reviewed research and practice articles from ACES members as well as reprints, with permission, of key articles from other journals recommended by members. This initiative builds on the white paper on community engagement written by members, Lynn Blanchard and Andrew Furco in 2021, Faculty Engaged Scholarship: Setting Standards and Building Conceptual Clarity. ACES has become a member of crossref so each publication will have its own DOI number to allow searches to be more efficient. Available on the Publications section of our website are also guidelines for submitting an article. We hope you will think about submitting an article!
