Monica Canca is a community engagement facilitator with two decades of experience in the development sector—contributing toward building local ecosystems for coordinated efforts to addressing complex social challenges. As a Knowledge for Change mentor under the UNESCO Chair in Community Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education, she participates in collaborative knowledge co-creation processes across sectors and disciplines. Canca is driven by a passion for lifelong learning and promotes the value of all forms of knowing and being toward transformative action and sustainable change.
