Biographical Abstracts

Greasley, a UK administrator and English faculty member for 30 years, was formerly dean of University Extension, overseeing academic outreach programs, including Evening and Weekend College, Summer School, the Independent Study Program, Distance Learning Programs, the Japanese Saturday School, Japanese Programs, and others.

Phil Greasley is well versed in academic outreach and engagement. He directed the UK Center at Fort Knox, coordinated the UK Saturday Seminars, served on the UK Distance Learning Committee, chaired the UK Continuing Education Council, headed the Kentucky Postsecondary Continuing Education Council, and served as regional chair and director-at-large for the Association for Continuing Higher Education. He is now president-elect of the international Association for Continuing Higher Education and of the national Coalition for Lifelong Learning Organizations. He regularly serves on Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation teams.
